Heron sailing is a story of Lili and Tomaz and our sailboat Heron. Our first sailing adventure lasted for two years, then we were landlubbers for six years, but we sailed in Adriatc every summer as much as we could. Then we started our second longer sailing adventure, we sailed to Canary islands and back. Currently we are sailing in Adria during the summer season and are spending winters at home. First days in Greece
We arrived in Greece on wednesday in the evening, after a hard and bumpy ride. We left Cavtat in rain and it was raining almost the whole first day, with lightning and thunders occasionally. In the night got even worse, along with the rain came the waves and several thunderstorms. It wasn't till 3 in the morning that things calmed down a bit and Tomaz finally got to bed. Morning was calm, no signs of turbulent night. At the noon the wind picked up and got stronger and stronger and we reached Greece even earlier than we calculated. And the best thing was the welcoming committee - flock of dolphins, playing around our boat for minutes as we were approaching Ericoussa. And we slept long and good that night ....
